Little Brother Love

My little brother and I were on our own for most of the day, so we decided to still make the most of our time together. We had planned on using our Six Flags season passes today but guess who forgot the passes at home?! ME, that's who! So we were both kinda down but decided not to let it get us down; we'll just try again on Wednesday, eh brother? On the drive home we made a quick stop at Target and picked up some Magically Delicious cereal because my recent post has been making me super-time crave it. We changed when we got home and as I went downstairs to get some b-fast I heard the LOUDEST music coming from upstairs.

Cue Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll."
I walked upstairs and was greeted by this:

I have THE coolest/cutest/most amazingly silly little brother ever, right?!

Seriously. I could not stop smiling! :) He still surprises me sometimes.

After that awesome-ness we chowed down on our cereal. "Yes mom, of course we brushed our teeth!" And then we watched Young Frankenstein. One of our faves. Ever. Mel Brooks and Weird Al Yankovich just really do it for the two of us ;). So, of course, no true brother/sister day could ever be truly complete for us without one or the other (or both even). :D

Truly HE-LARIOUS!

^Oh heyyy, little brother.^

After we calmed down a bit we ate lunch, updated our facebooks, and then headed out to see Killers, which I have to mention was a strictly on-the-down-low event for us. As in, his friends must/will never know about his seeing it. So don't tell. ;)

I mean, deep down, I know he really loves chick flicks. Because, duh! He does have THREE sisters. It comes with the littlest brother description silly boy!

And oh my gosh, Ashton Kutcher. Yum! :)

We enjoyed both the popcorn and the movie and then headed home to spend time with Callie and wait for the rest of the family to trickle in.

All in all, I would have to say that it was a pretty spectacular day. Even though I forgot the season passes and the day didn't go quite the way we planned.

I am so grateful that Michael and I have been able to stay so close over the years. And that we still get to have wacky days like this and just have fun.

I hope you had a great day too. Do anything fun?
See you soon...
xoxo
