Tuesday Tunes

Sooo. I've been eyeing many a blogs Music Monday posts for quite some time. I am obsessive about music (to say the least) so the idea of this excites me greatly :). But I get on my blog when I can, and this is rarely even every day, or even more than once a day. So I've decided that since I'm now participating in Much Love Monday's, why not just start doing a music post on Tuesday? Why not indeed.

And so "Tuesday Tunes" is born.

I shall try not to be overly opinionated in my choices of music and to be rather open-minded musically.

(I don't want to be seen as a music snob.)

But truthfully, this is my blog, so it will be about my taste in music, yes? ;)

I've known about this group for a few years now, but like, in the back of my mind. I stumbled across this song online a couple months ago and instantly remembered how much I love them. If you ever have the opportunity, please give them a listen. You won't regret it.

Much Love Monday

I've been enjoying reading the Much Love Monday posts for many weeks now and have finally decided to take part :D.

This week, I'm lovin' CATS.

There have always been both cats and dogs in my life, but I've always had more of a fondness for said dogs. Dogs are loyal, loving, and always ready to show you how much they care.

Cats, yeah, not so much. I have plenty of scratches to prove it. But, it's in those moments when they surprise you, meowing when you walk up, jumping into your lap, laying on your face as you try to nap, and purring incessantly when you do something as simple as spend time with them, that I am reminded how much I enjoy being around these fluff-balls.

Cats are crazy, and that's exactly why I love 'em.

I've Got Sunshine

I've been spending loads of time on weheartit lately, browsing and hearting way too many amazing pictures. I feel like I've been in a slight inspiration funk and now, thanks to this site, my inspiration is back. With a vengeance.

I hope everyone is doing okay. I, for one, am doing lots better. I'm happy it's summer and I'm happy to be living. That's what I'm focusing on for now.

Hello, hello

Sorry for my total lack of posts lately. But between finals, papers, grief, and a complete lack of energy I just haven't/ hadn't had the energy to put any time into my blog. I wasn't completely myself for awhile. But now...

School's Out For Summmmmerrrrr!

well, technically it's been out for about a week and a half but still...
Thank you Alice Cooper for inspiring that one ;).

I'm so excited to begin this long stretch of freedom ahead of me. I've got plans and I want to make this a summer to end all summers! haha. And I'm so glad that I have some time off now to regroup and to just do what I do. :)

Here's to summer and all of the endless possibilities I have always felt it brings.
