I'm Comin' Up

So.

Last night my mom had a party at our house.

Which was fine and dandy for her.

But, as for my sisters and I, it was a different story.

We were bored.

We had to get out...

J: Ugh, this is so boring. Let's go see a movie?!

C: I wish.

Me: Pero, no tenemos dinero.

J: Well, let's go do something crazy!!

Me: Like...?

J: Um...

C: Hey, let's go to Barnes and Noble.

And so that's what we did.

We got all dolled up and went out.

We blasted music on the drive over there.

We found magazines and books to look at and laugh at together.

We found a table to sit at (in the kid's section) and read our way slowly through the night.

It was grand :).

I know you're super jealous of our night out.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Sunday is my birthday so I'm gearing up for that.

I hate having Easter birthdays. This is the second stinkin' time this has happened to me. :(

Oh well.

Hello, I Love You

"Oh, Alanis, you speak to my bruised and bleeding heart."

So last weekend I went to Half Price Books with my good friend Roberto. We spent hours pouring through the stacks of books, digging through the CDs and records, and just goofing around. It was loads of fun :).

And bonus, I got one of Alanis Morrissette's earlier CDs. I seriously saw it sitting there on the shelf, grabbed it, and squealed a little. No joke. My life feels oh so complete now.
