Dear Florence, I Love You

Sleep is oh so fine...

So...

My day went something like this:

I had a lot of stuff that I wanted to do today but instead decided that sleeping in and lounging all day in pajamas was a much more exciting idea.

So that's what I did...

all day long.

First, I slept in until 11.

Second, I cleaned my room (because it desperately needed it).

Maxi helped me...

Third, I ate lunch with my mom, sister, and brother. This officially made it an awesome day. :D

Fourth, I had to, of course, work on my virtual farm. As you can see, I had the best kind of help. (He really loved watching the "mouse" move across the screen. Watching it for so long must have just worn him out because shortly after I took this picture he fell asleep across my keyboard :)).

And of course, I listened to my music...

all day long.

Because music makes everything better...

I especially loved this song. I have mixed feelings about Ke$ha as a singer in general; I'm not sure if I really like her or not. But this song reminded me so much of the relationship I just got out of that I couldn't stop playing it. It just makes sense somehow.

Overall, it was a pretty spectacular day. I feel much better now and ready to start the weekend off right anyways ;).

WHAT A DAY

Well....

Today was certainly an interesting day.

I got up at the usual time and wished very sincerely with all my heart that I could just crawl back under the covers and let sleep's blessed peace claim me. Alas, I had to get going. It was my own fault for being so tired and I could NOT under any circumstances miss classes today.

You see, last night I pulled my very first (almost) all-nighter! I say almost because I did actually manage to finish slightly before I had to "get up" so squeezed in approximately two hours of sleep :(.

And for the record, I don't understand how people manage to do it on a regular basis. I managed to get all my school work done, yes, but paid the price all day long, stumbling from class to class, squinting at the bright lights, and trying to take coherent notes.

I will definitely not be pulling one of those again anytime soon...my sanity is much too valuable.

Thank goodness for my sister Callie. If she hadn't been able to drive me to and from campus there would probably have been another accident littering the highway (because I couldn't see straight).

So, thank you again Beanie for saving my life :).

I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am that this week is behind me now. Not taking classes on Friday's is such an amazing thing. I'm not sure how I managed to do it for so long; three day weekends are wonderful :D. I had so much to do this week and was so stressed and overwhelmed the entire time that now I feel totally wiped out.

I'm definitely going to be spending time taking care of me this weekend. I think it's time to have another Lord of the Rings day. That would make me so very happy :).

I can only hope that everyone else's week went better than mine.

The Randomness That Defines Me

Things have been pretty good recently, I can't complain too much. I've just been swamped with school and everything, which accounts for my total lack of posts in the last two weeks. :(

I hope all is well in blogging world and the only other thing I can say is thank goodness it's almost Spring Break. I am definitely looking forward to some time off to do anything and everything I want... I think a Road Trip is definitely in order.
